AER releases Queensland distribution tariffs

The tariff changes, which were proposed by the companies in late May, will apply from 1 July 2010.

Most of APT’s demand tariffs, which cover the Brisbane, Gold Coast, Toowoomba and Oakey regions, increased, however some decreases were noted at higher volumes. The volume tariff base charge increased from $A0.440 to $A0.462 per day and its volume tariff fixed retail competition charge decreased from $A0.088 to $A0.077 per day.

Of Envestra’s volume delivery point charges, applying to the Brisbane, Dinmore and Northern zones, only the supply delivery charges and the charges for the first 0.2 gigajoules (GJ) per day of gas increased. Its demand haulage service charges increased only up to the first 200 GJ.

For further details in the new tariff rates see the AER Gas website.
