Agility’s local experts, global networks

With large LNG developments planned for remote parts of Australasia, global energy contractors face the difficult task of undertaking significant construction activities in regions with minimal supporting infrastructure.

As awareness of the importance of logistical requirements for project execution and the benefits of engaging a specialist logistics capability grows, LNG companies are increasingly turning to Agility Project Logistics to implement and manage logistics solutions in the development of large-scale LNG programs.

Agility is currently contracted to provide customised global and mainland supply base logistics on the largest LNG activities in the region, including the Gorgon LNG Project, the Pluto LNG Project, and PNG LNG Project.

These customised programs cover a wide scope of work, addressing requirements ranging from the international movement of heavy lift cargo and equipment, through to the establishment and management of dedicated project warehouses, and the provision of camp and catering services in remote areas (through their sister company, GCC-ACS).

Agility assigns a dedicated project team to each individual project. This team is supported by a centralised group of Australian experts in specialist niches such as customs and tariff consultancy, over-dimensional sea and road freight, route surveys, and heavy lift.

With expertise in Australian operations, a hard-won reputation for excellence, and the reach back capabilities that come from being a key member of a global network, Agility lives and breathes its ethos – “˜local experts, global networks’.
