Arrow delivers CSG exploration and appraisal report card

In a report, Arrow detailed “excellent progress”? on its $300 million Australian exploration and appraisal program.

The company noted excellent pilot well flow rates from the Moranbah coal measures in the Saraji area of the Southern Bowen Basin and early gas breakthrough from Moranbah coal measures pilots in the northern Bowen Basin.

In the Rangal coal measures, intersection of a 12 metres thick seam immediately north of the South Walker Creek field was reported, as was high gas contents and excellent coal thicknesses from wells in the southern Bowen Basin.

Arrow further mentioned promising flow rates from the Fort Cooper coal measures and encouraging results on areas further away from current core development and in deeper parts of the Surat Basin.

A completed frac pilot in the Clarence Moreton Basin which had good coal thicknesses is now awaiting production hook up.

A consequent 3P reserves upgrade is expected in early 2010.
