Muttaburra-2, the first of seven coreholes to be drilled across ATP 529P, has reached a total depth of 1088.9 metres. The well has been plugged and abandoned, and its cores have been dispatched for testing.
Eastern Corporation has also spud Vera Park-1, the second corehole in the program. The well is now drilling ahead at 939 metres.
The Dunrossie-1 well, located in ATP 799P, has also spud. The well is the first of two coreholes in the permit’s drilling program.
ATP 529P is a 50-50 joint venture between AGL Energy and Eastern Corporation subsidiary Galilee Energy under a farmin agreement with AGL as operator. ATP 799P is 100 per cent owned by Galilee Energy.
