In this new role, Mr Harcus will be responsible for leading the strategic, technical and commercial aspects of the Jemena Gas Network and the Rosehill Recycled Water Scheme Network.
In his previous role as Jemena Manager – Gas Network Market Development, Mr Harcus oversaw the development and implementation of successful gas network sales and marketing activities, including the “˜Natural Gas, Natural Choice’ campaign.
Now in its fifth year, this campaign is aimed at promoting the benefits of connecting to natural gas. The campaign has played a key role in attracting 30,000 new customers to the Jemena Gas Network each year.
The Jemena Gas Network distributes natural gas to over 1.1 million homes and businesses in Sydney, Newcastle, the Central Coast and Wollongong as well as to over 20 country centres, including those in the Central West, Central Tablelands, South Western, Southern Tablelands, Riverina and Southern Highlands regions of New South Wales.
