The Narrabri Gas Project has the potential to play a significant role in the domestic energy space and could supply up to 50 per cent of NSW’s gas needs.
The EIS will now be assessed by the NSW Government on behalf of the Commonwealth to ensure the Project meets the highest environmental standards.
This process will include opportunities for interested parties to review the document and make submissions.
The NSW Government will invite public submissions as part of the exhibition period.
