New Cooper Basin CSG licences approved

Primary Industries and Resources SA (PIRSA) approved the proposed three-well CSG coring program for the PEL 103 and PEL 103A joint ventures, which is expected to take approximately six weeks to complete.

Wellsite construction is on track to commence, with AGL engaging drilling contractor Tom Browne Drilling Services to begin operations within the next three weeks.

The drilling program will commence with the spud of the Merninie-2 well.

Joint venture partners for PEL 103 include AGL as operator, Innamincka and Seoul City Gas Australia, while joint venture partners for PEL 103A include AGL as operator, Innamincka and Avery Resources Australia.
