UGL closes in on $180m worth of contracts

UGL has secured new contracts and extensions for maintenance and turnaround services in the Queensland, Western Australian and Victorian oil and gas sectors.

Worth a combined $180 million, the contracts include work with Gladstone LNG (GLNG), Esso Australia, BP and Viva Energy.

UGL has been awarded a multi-year extension of its maintenance, projects and shutdown services contract with GLNG at the Queensland Curtis Island facility.

Esso Australia has agreed on a multi-year extension to its framework agreement with UGL for the provision of operations and maintenance services on non-producing offshore platforms in the Bass Strait offshore Victoria.

A multi-year contract with BP Kwinana will see UGL supply electrical and mechanical labour, and support management comprising planners, engineers and supervisors for 2021 majors turnaround and shutdown work.

In addition, Viva Energy has extended its multi-year contract for the maintenance services at the Geelong refinery.

The contractor has also secured new work in Queensland, including brownfield projects and operational services in the oil and gas sector.
